Staffolo is a small town with 2400 inhabitants in Marche / Italy, about 44 km from the provincial capital of Ancona.


The village is 442 meters high above the Esino Valley and offers beautiful views over the Marche hills where wine - especially Verdicchio - olives, sunflowers and lavender thrive.


The historic centre is surrounded by a ring wall. There are 2 watchtowers and 2 town gates, the Porta Venezia and the Porta San Martino. Along the main street you will find churches and venerable noble palaces.


In summer, there are regular festivals and events.
